Fahey said the integrity of the game will eventually be called
into question and fans will show their disapproval by refusing to
attend games.

Yeah, they stayed home in droves during the McGwire/Sosa chase, and
they've continued to stay away. I think that Selig has contracted
three or four teams in the past ten years. And all of the players
that have stayed home because the teams couldn't make payroll has
just been absurd.

I'm a big fan of Craig Calcaterra from Shysterball and now NBC
Hardball Talk. He has written very negatively about WADA several
times and accused them of poor motives/hypocracy/stupidity. I suggest
you read at least the first 2 articles.

It's funny how the other major sports basically get a free pass on this
issue, but people just love to rip on MLB. And I get tired of hearing
the same old tired crap about the sanctity of MLB records, when they're
no more comparable from era to era than any other sport.

slightly off topic, but why are my tax dollars being used to investigate
to see if Lance Armstrong cheated in the Tour de FRANCE?

Because that's easier than using your tax dollars to get something
meaningful done. Plus, it gets the faces of Congressmen on TV.

Well, when he's a proven cheater I can sue him for all of his
advertising money since it's clear I could have beaten him if I'd
been evil enough to use PEDs.

Just a sign Americans don't take PED use seriously
enough.

The French didn't bother with a boring investigation
of David Miller. The police raided his place.
